Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced AZ Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver to join our team for daytime operations. This role requires a professional with a strong background in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to various job sites, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the truck in excellent condition.
- Tri-axle dump truck driver- 3 years’ experience required
- Full time Local Work
- Mondays through Fridays and weekends
- Tri Axle Dump with Flatbed & Tractor Trailer Experience Required
- $30.00 an hour - 6:30am start time
- Must have experience loading and unloading heavy equipment off flat beds in a construction environment
Details:
As an AZ Float Truck Driver, you can expect to be picking up and delivering various sized heavy equipment and materials to project sites within a 150 km radius of Cambridge ensuring that all oversize permits, load security regulations, and rules of the road are observed and adhered to while practicing defensive driving techniques at all times. When not moving equipment or materials by flat deck, the AZ Float Driver will be required to transport site materials (aggregates/debris) utilizing an end dump trailer.
Working Conditions:
Our AZ Float Driver works irregular or odd hours in outdoor work sites during the peak of construction season. The work hours depend on the weather condition and may include weekend hours.
Our construction sector is typically seasonal, however we tried to provide employment year-round to all Team Members by providing snow removal services in the winter, emergency sewer and watermain repair and other heavy construction projects that can occur during winter months.

- Abstract, CVOR / must be 30 days current.
Skills
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Proven experience operating tri-axle dump trucks in a commercial setting
- Knowledge of freight handling, heavy equipment operation,
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to trucking and heavy equipment use
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as loading/unloading cargo and inspecting trucks
