Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Licensed Hair Stylist or Barber to join our vibrant salon & Spa team. This position is a Month to Month Chair Rental. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair styling, exceptional customer service skills, and a professional demeanor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to a welcoming salon environment. The licensed stylist / Barber will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting retail sales initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and salon success.

Responsibilities

Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to client preferences
Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and understanding client needs
Maintain strict sanitation and cleanliness standards in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations
Manage own clientele & scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling own payments efficiently
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests
Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge to provide innovative services

Qualifications

Valid barber or Hairstylist license as required by local regulations
Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work preferred
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and retain clients
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon setting
Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is a plus
A friendly, professional attitude with a passion for the beauty industry and helping clients look their best

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
