Full job description

Location: Remote (Applicants must reside in the Dartmouth, Nova Scotia area)

Hours: 30 hours per week

Compensation: $23-$25 per hour based on experience

We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and bookkeeping support in a remote work environment. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support, including email and telephone correspondence
Deliver exceptional customer service to clients
Perform bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks Online, including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and account reconciliation
Maintain accurate electronic records and files
Schedule appointments and manage calendars as required
Prepare reports, documents, and correspondence
Complete other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative support role
Demonstrated proficiency with QuickBooks Online is required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Google Drive and general computer applications, ability to learn industry specific software
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office workspace

Preferred Qualifications

Bookkeeping or accounting experience
Knowledge of PestBoss App.
Experience supporting a remote team
