Novus Glass is looking for an Automotive Glass Technician!
The focus of our Auto Glass Technician is to replace or repair broken windshields and window glass in motor vehicles and equipment using proper tools and methods to ensure quality installation while following all Novus Glass Safety Policies and Procedure Guidelines.
You will be responsible for Auto Glass Replacements, Auto Glass Repairs, ADAS calibration, safety glass installation, keeping your work area clean and free of debris, and all other duties as assigned.
You will also be responsible for customer service, scheduling, inventory ordering, and insurance claims submissions.
A day in the life of an Auto Glass Technician at Novus Glass:
· Repair or replace glass and related materials such as windshields, rear windows, passenger door windows and vehicle heaters, while always complying with Novus Glass technical standards
· Replace or adjust motorized or manual window mechanisms
· Examine glass for defects before installation
· If necessary, cut the glass to the specified patterns, or perform precision molding and cutting of the glass to fit custom replacement windows
· Perform ADAS calibration using various diagnostic tools and equipment
· Provide exceptional customer service to build strong and lasting relationships with customers
· Clean shop premises and maintain a safe work environment
· Complete mobile jobs and shuttle vehicles/customers as required
· Liaise with insurance companies for claims submissions
Our ideal candidate
· At least 1 year of experience in the automotive glass industry with a willingness to learn
· Valid Class 5 driver’s license
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Proficiency with MS Office applications as well as web-based scheduling and inventory platforms
Working Requirements
· Ability to lift 75lbs periodically, 35lbs routinely and occasionally lifting/holding above one’s head and from elevated job sites
· Available to work Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm
· Travel to off-site locations may be required
· Safety equipment required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
· Hazards associated with the trade

Compensation
Commensurate with experience; ranging $41,500 - $50,000
