The Eastern Clean Energy team plays a pivotal role in getting us there.
We are currently looking for a Co-op Engineering Student to join our Eastern Clean Energy Initiative (ECEI) Project Controls team. This position offers hands-on experience working on major energy infrastructure projects including transmission, substations, and renewable energy initiatives. Reporting to the Project Controls lead, you will collaborate with engineering, construction, project controls, contractors, and document management professionals to help manage technical project information throughout the project lifecycle.
Key elements of this role include::
We’ll treat you as one of our own and your key areas of responsibility will include:
Generating accurate outgoing transmittals ensuring proper authorization, completion, and compliance with requirements (e.g. RFIs, RFPs, correspondence, quality reports, etc.)
Regularly updating document logs, registers, and project databases, ensuring that all records are current and accurate.
Ensuring assigned contractor and supplier documentation deliverables meet requirements and perform quality checks. Administrate the master document registers (MDR), supplier master document registers, and document distribution matrix.

Demonstrated & strong knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction documentation, including processes and procedures, such as vendor data and as-built processes.
