Home Stager
Contract / Temporary Position
Beaupre Homestyling is looking for a talented, reliable and design-savvy Home Stager to join our growing team.
This is a contract/temporary, as-needed position ideal for someone with staging or interior styling experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is looking for flexible work. Hours will vary based on our staging and destaging schedule, with some weeks busier than others. Could result in longer-term employment.
The Role
As a Home Stager, you’ll work alongside our team to transform homes throughout HRM into beautiful, market-ready spaces.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with vacant and occupied home staging projects
- Selecting and placing furniture, artwork, lighting, rugs and accessories
- Styling rooms and completing final staging details
- Helping execute the lead stager’s design vision
- Making styling decisions independently when required
- Assisting with staging installations and destaging
- Packing, unpacking and organizing staging accessories
- Helping ensure inventory is handled carefully and returned appropriately
- Keeping staging spaces organized and presentation-ready
- Working efficiently to complete projects within scheduled timelines
- Managing staff/movers as needed
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has a strong eye for interior decorating, styling and current trends
- Has previous home staging, interior decorating or related experience (not mandatory but an asset).
- Can walk into a space and quickly understand scale, balance and furniture placement
- Is comfortable working in a physically active environment
- Is reliable, punctual and able to work efficiently
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Is comfortable with a schedule that can change based on project volume
- Has a driver’s license and reliable transportation and is able to travel to projects throughout Halifax-Dartmouth-Bedford.
- Is comfortable lifting and moving smaller furniture, artwork, accessories and staging items
Position Details
Employment Type: Contract / Temporary / On-Call
Schedule: Variable — based on staging and destaging needs
Location: Halifax- Dartmouth and surrounding areas
Start Date: As needed / Immediate availability preferred
This position would be a great fit for an experienced stager, decorator or design professional looking to pick up additional projects without committing to a traditional full-time schedule.
