Full job description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Office Manager on behalf of our client, an established organization in the Bayers Lake area.

This is a leadership-focused role responsible for overseeing office operations, managing a team of administrative professionals, and ensuring key business processes remain organized and on track. You'll play an important role in supporting day-to-day operations, improving efficiency, and helping the office run smoothly.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced leader who enjoys problem-solving, motivating others, and taking ownership of their work.

What you’ll be doing:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy office environment
Lead, support, and supervise a small team of administrative employees
Manage invoicing processes and ensure invoices are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Monitor workloads, delegate tasks, and ensure administrative priorities are completed on schedule
Provide direction, coaching, and accountability to the administrative staff
Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase operational efficiency
Troubleshoot operational and administrative challenges as they arise
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with clients and internal stakeholders
Utilize Microsoft Office, SysPro, and other internal systems to support office operations and reporting

What we’re looking for:

Minimum 5 years of experience leading office operations and administrative teams in a supervisory or management role
Strong leadership, delegation, and team-development skills
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience with SysPro or similar ERP systems is considered an asset
Financial, bookkeeping, or accounting experience is considered an asset
Strong communication and customer service skills
Reliable, proactive, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities
Open to learning new systems and processes
