Full job description

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and creative Front Desk & Social Media Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating engaging content, managing social media, and contributing to a positive client experience. The successful candidate will be first point of contact for our clients while helping to strengthen our online presence through content creation and digital marketing.

Responsibilities

Welcome clients and provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and through online communication channels.
Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, cancellations, and client inquiries using our booking system.
Respond to emails, phone calls, text messages, and social media messages in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain accurate client records and ensure all information is updated as needed.
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Capture photos and videos of services, products, events, and behind-the-scenes activities for marketing purposes.
Edit photos and videos using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar software.
Produce engaging short-form video content including Reels, Stories, promotional videos, client testimonials, and educational content.
Monitor social media trends and develop creative ideas to increase engagement, followers, and brand awareness.
Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, contests, and special events.
Promote salon, spa, wellness, and astrology services, as well as retail products with the help of Google SEO through our website.
Support retail sales by recommending products and services that meet client needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Assist the management team with administrative duties and day-to-day operations as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in reception, customer service, administration, social media management, or a related field is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience managing social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Google SEO
Proficiency in video editing and content creation using tools such as Canva, CapCut, InShot, Adobe Express, or similar applications.
Ability to create engaging photo and video content that aligns with the brand's image and goals.
Experience in the beauty, wellness, spa, or salon industry is an asset.
Knowledge of social media marketing trends and best practices is preferred.
Canadian Permanent Resident or Citizen preferred.
