SeniorsTransit is a leading provider of assisted and para-transit services across the Halifax Regional Municipality. We are committed to delivering safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation solutions for individuals with accessibility needs.
SeniorsTransit operates 365 days a year, which includes all holidays. This position provides full-time hours, minimum 5 days per week in a 7-day period, including weekends. Hours of work and requirements may vary dependent on customer needs.
We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced drivers for both full-time and part-time and on call positions.

Shifts Available:
- 10, or 12-hour shifts
- Weekdays, weekends, holidays,
Key Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 (non-GDL) NS driver’s license (to be upgraded to Class 4)
- Clean drivers abstract
- Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check
- Clean Child Abuse Registry Check
- Physical ability to push/pull wheelchairs up and down a ramp
- Experience working with persons with disabilities is considered an asset
- Clean driving record (no at-fault accidents in the past 5 years)
- Minimum 3 years driving experience
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal, written, comprehension)
Preferred Experience:
- Halifax Regional Municipality Taxi License or willing to obtain within short period after hiring,
