We are currently seeking the expertise of a Training Coordinator to join our team from our head office based in Bedford, NS.
The Opportunity:
The Training Department of the Municipal Group of Companies is seeking a Training Coordinator to support the delivery of high-impact training and development programs across our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and working with employees, leaders, program participants and external stakeholders. In this role, you will contribute to a positive learning experience by coordinating program logistics, supporting learners and facilitators, maintaining training records, and ensuring training events run smoothly. This position is based in Bedford, NS.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate the delivery of training and development programs, including participant registration, onboarding, scheduling, communications, and event logistics.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for learners, facilitators, leaders, and other stakeholders, responding to training-related inquiries and providing LMS support.
- Maintain training records, learner data, and program documentation.
- Prepare training materials and coordinate facilities, training resources, catering, and other program requirements.
- Support facilitators before, during, and after training sessions to ensure a positive learning experience.
- Provide general administrative support and other related duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:

Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, Education, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Experience in administration, training coordination, event coordination, customer service, or a related role.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies are considered assets.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle to support early morning, evening, weekend related activities.
