Pacific West Mechanical is a well established and growing full service mechanical contractor. Our expertise is in service, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting, of managed commercial and multi-family buildings in the Greater Vancouver Region.

Your Qualifications, Experience, and Abilities Include a combination of the following:

A team player with an amazingly positive attitude and character
Clean and tidy appearance
Good written and communication skills
5+ years experience indentured Plumber
High-rise building, boiler, electrical or controls experience (preferred)
Red seal ticket (preferred)
Class A or B Gas ticket (preferred)
Backflow ticket with knowledge on testing and repairing backflows (preferred)
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driving history.
Hardworking/Reliable with the ability to think on your feet, multitask, and problem solve
Ability to work independently, proactively in a busy fast paced environment
Willing to provide references upon request
Documentation confirming your eligibilty to work in Canada
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and install of toilets, kitchen sinks (including undermount) and drainage, faucets, shower cartridges, dishwashers, basic 40 gal HWTs gas and electric, commercial flush valves
Ability to source and clamp water leaks
Ability to replace smaller residential PRV’s
Rough-in a bathroom group with correct venting
Repair and replace relief valves on boilers, HWTs, storage tanks
Experience drain cleaning/unclogging-using K-50,K-60,K-1500 and hydro jetters
Experience with camera scoping, and locating
Some experience with hose bibb rebuilds, pulling and resetting toilets and tubs
Ability to solder up to 2” and use of propress tools with XL jaws
Basic water piping skills
