Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized food service area. This role is essential in ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers and supporting smooth restaurant operations.

Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties, with attention to accuracy and security.
Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food preparation area, counters, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards.
Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods while maintaining high-quality service.
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to uphold health regulations.
Assist in food industry operations such as serving customers, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen staff as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and good communication abilities.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous.
Ability to handle food properly and maintain cleanliness at all times.
Willingness to learn new skills such as upselling techniques and food preparation methods.

Pay: $17.20-$22.74 per hour
