Access to Success Organization (ATS) is a Toronto-based not-for-profit on a mission to Enable Everyone. As a leading global innovation hub for accessibility startups, we help scale life-changing innovations to reach people with disabilities worldwide.
We are hiring the next member of our leadership team, the Program Manager, to manage and grow our accelerator and partner programming. This is a highly self-driven leadership role where your work will directly impact the growth of the organization.
You will lead program design, speaker recruitment and community management, and manage the day-to-day operations for one of the most unique accelerators in the country. Working closely with the Executive Director, you will have direct access to our global network of speakers, mentors, investors, and ecosystem leaders. You will be the face of the accelerator for our global community of accessibility entrepreneurs, and play a key role in their growth.
Format and timing: Full-time (up to 40 hours/week)
Location: Hybrid, up to 4 days/week at our downtown Toronto office
Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 per year based on qualifications
Start Date: Based on earliest availability
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver world-class programming for our accelerator and partner-backed innovation streams, including program design, speaker recruitment and milestone tracking
- Keep track of the latest cutting-edge innovations in accessibility in Canada and around the world, including frequent conversations with entrepreneurs and traveling to relevant domestic and international conferences
- Support entrepreneurs participating in the program with their acceleration needs
- Recruit and manage speakers, mentors, and experts from across the global accessibility and innovation sectors by leveraging our network
- Lead community management, including managing the online program hub, onboarding the new cohort, organizing group check-ins, managing participant and speaker communications, and ensure each startup gets what they need to thrive
- Working closely with our Marketing Lead, support experience design, logistics and event hosting for major events like the Demo Day
- Collaborate with the Executive Director on partnership activities, including planning and execution of activations with corporate and ecosystem partners
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years experience in accelerators, venture capital, entrepreneurship or innovation ecosystem development
- Must have prior experience supported entrepreneurs and innovators through structured programming such as accelerators or incubators
- Exceptionally strong community development and management skills
- Experience with no-code tools like Airtable, Asana, Notion, etc.
- A track record of managing external-facing programs and managing communities
- Familiarity with accessibility and disability inclusion would be a strong asset
