Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team in Drumheller. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality in-home care that aligns with our commitment to client-centered service. Your contributions will directly impact the well-being of our clients and their families.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities for clients in their homes.
Support clients with mobility and physical tasks, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
Assist with meal preparation and dietary needs tailored to individual preferences.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients through light housekeeping duties.
Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
Document client progress and report any changes in health status.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Health Care Aide or similar role in home or community care settings.
Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
Certification or training in caregiving or related fields is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with diverse populations.
Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting or transferring clients as needed.
Knowledge of dementia care practices is an asset.
First Aid/CPR certification is preferred.
