Full job description

Padnoma Support Services is a nonprofit charitable organization that supports adults with developmental disabilities in Olds, Alberta and area. We value celebrating the person, citizenship and mutual responsive relationships. We are currently looking to add a couple of community disability support professionals to our team.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 GED or proven experience
Human Services training is an asset
Compassionate, patient, and reliable
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A minimum of 1 year experience working with persons with disabilities will be considered an asset.
Strong oral and written communication skills to learn proficient and respectful documentation. Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Teams is an asset.

Responsibilities:

Provide personalized support to individuals with disabilities in their homes, at their jobs and/or in their community
Foster positive relationships with clients, their families, employers, and other professionals
Looking for various hours

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license, driver's abstract and 2-million-dollar liability coverage
Criminal record/Vulnerable Sector check issued by the RCMP (current within last 3 months)
First Aid/CPR certification

Must be willing to transport individuals in their vehicles in and around Olds.
