Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, along with excellent leadership and team management skills. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality while delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties

Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in food handling, cooking techniques, and customer service best practices.
Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new kitchen personnel to build a strong team.
Implement and maintain health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menu items that reflect customer preferences and seasonal availability.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications

Proven experience in the food industry with a focus on restaurant management or kitchen experience.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
