The Opportunity
You will join a multidisciplinary clinical team providing comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver conditions. The role offers flexibility, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to build and develop your own clinical practice within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The organization operates a large network of outpatient clinics across Canada, supporting thousands of healthcare professionals and delivering accessible, community-based care with a strong focus on innovation and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions including IBS, IBD, GERD, liver disease, and colorectal disorders
- Perform and/or interpret diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy and colonoscopy (where applicable)
- Develop and implement personalized treatment and management plans
- Provide ongoing care and follow-up for patients with chronic gastrointestinal conditions
- Collaborate closely with family physicians and other specialists within the clinic network
- Opportunity to develop subspecialty interests (e.g. hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, or advanced endoscopy)

Candidate Requirements
- Specialist qualification in Gastroenterology
- Eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
- Experience in outpatient gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures preferred
- Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
