Full job description

We are seeking a Motel Housekeeping Manger for a 13-room motel located at 4582 Highway 17 E, Longbow Lake, ON (this is about 10 minute drive east from downtown Kenora).

We acquired what was once known as the "Whispering Pines Motel" and have been undergoing a complete renovation with all new rooms about to open.

We are seeking someone to take on the role of Housekeeping Manager as we are starting to prep the rooms to be opened and need someone to oversee the property ongoing as we continue with renovations and start to open more rooms and fill up with guests.

Pay starts at $25.00/hour with a $50.00/month cell phone allowance and health benefits after 90 days of successful employment.

Shifts typically would start at 9AM daily and some weekend available would be needed but eventually can be reduced when we have more housekeepers on the team.

Responsibilities include:

- Thoroughly cleaning motel rooms each day.

- Processing laundry.

- Keeping the exterior grounds neat and tidy.

- Assisting with hiring and training of additional housekeepers.
