As our Human Resources Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our people’s operations. Position: HR Manager
Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 + Annual Performance Bonus

Position Responsibilities and Duties
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee and administer HR policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with Ontario ESA and applicable legislation
- Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans
- Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and HR documentation
- Policy Integrity: The ability to be "firm but fair" by upholding company policy strictly while remaining receptive to employee input.
- Consistency: Ensuring that all employees are treated fairly and in accordance with past organizational actions to prevent legal risks and boost morale
Talent Management
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and probation processes
- Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational growth
- Support learning, development, and succession planning initiatives
Employee Experience & Performance
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance management and employee engagement
- Oversee performance review cycles, compensation adjustments, and recognition programs
- Foster a positive, professional, and compliant workplace culture
Strategic HR Support
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform leadership decisions
- Support change management initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on people-related
- Decisiveness: Comfort in making "tough calls," such as layoffs or disciplinary actions, that prioritize business performance.
- Solution-Focused Directness: Using direct communication to focus on task improvement and transparency rather than passing derogatory or judgmental comments.
Essential De-escalation Skills
· De-escalation in a firm environment is about "slowing things down" and choosing non-reactive responses to keep everyone safe and productive

Qualifications and Other Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
· CHRP designation (or working toward) preferred
· Minimum 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership or manager-level responsibilities
· Strong working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation (ESA), Ministry of Labour, Human Rights Code and all other HR best practices.
· Experience managing workplace investigations and compliance-driven HR processes
· High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention
· Proven ability to design and implement HR programs that drive engagement and retention.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills—you can build trust at every level of the organization.
· A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Communication Techniques: Active listening, questioning, summarizing, feedback delivery.

Work & Travel Schedule:
· Monday - Friday Shift: 9:00am to 5:30pm (Evenings or weekends as required)
