Full job description

Description:

This is an outdoor position with a lot of customer contact. Ride operators are primarily responsible for greeting customers, safely loading and unloading the ride and maintaining safety and services standards. Ride assignments change daily and assignments are given based on employee ability and level of customer service. This is an outdoor position which requires a lot of standing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Ensure Guest Safety: Operate rides in accordance with established safety procedures to ensure the well-being of park visitors
Conduct safety inspections before each ride cycle to check for any malfunctions or potential hazards
Enforce Ride Policies
Operate control panels and follow specific procedures to start, stop, and control the speed or movement of the ride
Monitor ride systems and respond quickly to any technical issues or malfunctions.
Load & Unload Guest Safely
Provide Guest Assistance & Service:

Answer guest questions and provide information about the ride experience, park layout, and amenities
Assist guests with special needs or concerns, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.

Maintain Ride Cleanliness
Monitor Ride Capacity
Collaborate with Team Members

Qualifications/Requirements:

Good Communication Skills
Ride operators may need to stand for long periods and should be physically capable of performing the duties associated with the job, which may include operating controls, securing restraints, and assisting guests
Ability to handle stressful situations

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
