Are you passionate about animals and seeking a rewarding career working with them? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Kennel Attendant. Our facility is committed to providing exceptional care and support for our dogs, and we need a hard working and dedicated individual who enjoys providing care to animals.

Job Description:
As a Kennel Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the well-being of our dogs. Cleanliness is very important so we are seeking an individual with good cleaning skills and an eye for detail. Also someone who is loving and kind towards animals.
Your primary responsibilities will include:

Animal Care: Ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of animals. This involves feeding, exercising, cleaning, and administering medications if needed.

Cleanliness and Sanitation: Keeping the kennel area and facilities clean, organized, and hygienic at all times. Regularly cleaning kennels, bedding, play areas, and other spaces to maintain a healthy environment for the animals.

Monitoring Health and Behavior: Observing animals for any signs of illness, injury, or behavioral changes. Reporting any concerns to the management.

Exercise and Playtime: Providing animals with playtime and exercise sessions

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with animals in a kennel, shelter, veterinary clinic, or similar setting is a plus but not required.

Passion for animal welfare and a genuine love for animals.

Ability to handle animals with care and remain calm in various situations.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions.

Excellent communication skills and listening skills.

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, as the job may involve carrying or moving animals and supplies. This job is also fast paced and requires you to be on your feet for the entire shift.

Able to work 3 or more shifts every week, shifts are 7 am to 3 pm and/or 3 pm to 11 pm.

Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
