TOK Transit is seeking reliable, professional, and customer-focused Part-Time Transit Operators to join our growing LINX and LINX Plus teams serving Simcoe County.
We are currently recruiting operators based in:
- Barrie
- Midland
- Stayner
- Wasaga
- Collingwood
- Orillia
These positions are ideal for individuals seeking flexible part-time employment, including retired or semi-retired drivers, school bus operators, professional drivers, and individuals looking to supplement their current income.
Available Positions
Conventional Transit Operator (LINX)
Operate accessible transit buses on scheduled routes throughout Simcoe County, providing safe, dependable transportation to residents and visitors.
Specialized Transit Operator (LINX Plus)
Provide accessible door-to-door transportation services for passengers requiring mobility assistance and specialized transportation support.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking individuals who are:
- Dependable and punctual
- Safety-focused
- Customer service oriented
- Professional in appearance and conduct
- Comfortable working independently
- Familiar with Simcoe County communities
- Available for a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Class B, or C licence with Z endorsement
- Clean driver's abstract
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to assist passengers with mobility devices and accessibility equipment
- Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Transit, coach, school bus, accessible transportation, or commercial driving experience considered an asset
