The Position

Welder/Fitter

This position is available for Day shift Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4 pm and afternoons Monday to Thursday 4 pm to 2:30 am.

Job description

Duties & Responsibilities

Read blueprints, diagrams, and sketches, and read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
Assist in design and fitting of new products
Conduct repairs, modifications, and retrofits.
Set up components for welding according to specifications.
Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
Operate hand tools and equipment to prepare the parts that must be welded if needed.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment.
Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety by monitoring temperature and wearing the required safety equipment at all times.
Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.

*Wage will be based on experience/skill level.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
