Fredericton Contractors is looking for Skilled Carpenters – Framing & Finish Carpentry to join our team.
We are looking for experienced carpenters with strong hands-on skills in framing and/or finish carpentry. Our work is primarily multi-residential construction, along with a mix of commercial projects.
You do not need to be experienced in every area. If you are a strong framer, finish carpenter, or have solid experience in one or more of the areas below, we would like to hear from you.
If you’re an experienced carpenter working as a subcontractor, we’d like to hear from you as well.
What You’ll Do
Depending on your experience and skill set, your work may include:
- Wood wall and floor framing
- Window installation
- Installation of pre-hung doors
- Door casing and trim
- Baseboard installation
- Perform other carpentry duties as required
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated carpentry skills and construction experience
- Strong experience in one or more of the tasks listed above.
- Experience across multiple areas is an asset, but not required.
- Residential, multi-residential, and commercial carpentry experience will all be considered
- Red Seal, Certificate of Qualification, or completed apprenticeship block training is an asset, but not required
- Able to work effectively as part of a crew and independently when required
- Dependable, punctual, professional, and safety-conscious
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are assets, but not required
