Role Description The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a full-time, hybrid or remote position depending on your location in Canada. The SDR will focus on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, social outreach, and targeted campaigns. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching prospects, engaging decision-makers, conducting discovery conversations, and scheduling qualified meetings for our clients. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, following structured sales processes, and collaborating closely with sales and marketing to refine messaging and outreach strategies. The SDR will be expected to meet and exceed activity and pipeline targets while representing AGS in a professional, consultative manner.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Inside Sales and Lead Generation, including outbound prospecting and managing a high volume of outreach activities.
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Sales skills, with the ability to conduct effective discovery calls, present value clearly, and handle objections.
Candidates should possess Business Development skills, including opportunity qualification, relationship building, and collaboration with account executives.
Relevant experience with CRM systems, sales engagement tools, and basic email/phone outreach techniques is beneficial.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow structured sales processes are important.
A results-oriented mindset, comfort with metrics and targets, and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment are preferred.
Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is an asset.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
