Clinical Social Worker

Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Flexibility Required)

Your Impact

As a Clinical Social Worker, you will play a key role in helping children and youth develop the skills, relationships, and supports needed to achieve greater emotional regulation and stability.

Responsibilities include:

· Conducting comprehensive clinical and psychosocial assessments

· Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

· Providing therapeutic interventions grounded in trauma-informed and attachment-based practices

· Applying NMT concepts and developmental understanding to treatment planning and intervention

· Supporting youth through stabilization and emotional regulation strategies

· Engaging families and caregivers as essential partners in treatment

· Collaborating with internal and external service providers to coordinate care

· Providing consultation, coaching, and therapeutic guidance to frontline staff

· Participating in clinical case reviews, treatment planning meetings, and professional supervision

· Maintaining accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

· Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)

· Registration and good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers (NBASW)

· Minimum five (5) years of professional social work experience

· Experience working with children and youth experiencing complex mental health, behavioural, developmental, or trauma-related challenges

· Strong understanding of trauma-informed, trauma-focused, and attachment-based approaches

· Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working in residential, stabilization, intensive treatment, or children and youth mental health settings

· Training or experience in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT)

· Knowledge of developmental neuroscience and relational approaches to treatment

NMT training and professional development opportunities will be provided to the successful candidate.
