Full job description

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pro Shop Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing tee time check-ins, handling phone inquiries, retail sales, food and beverage service (including alcohol), and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and book tee times
Check golfers in for their scheduled tee times efficiently
Operate point-of-sale (POS) system for retail and service transactions
Sell pro shop merchandise including apparel, accessories, and equipment
Prepare and serve food items according to menu offerings
Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly in accordance with regulations
Verify ID and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pro shop and food prep areas
Restock inventory and monitor product levels
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Provide general information about the course, events, and services

Qualifications:

Previous customer service or retail experience preferred
Basic food handling experience (or willingness to learn)
Valid Smart Serve certification (required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable handling cash and electronic payments
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Knowledge of golf is an asset but not required

Working Conditions:

Must be able to work throughout the fall till End of October
Flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and early mornings
Standing for extended periods
Indoor and outdoor work environment
