Full job description

Located in Richmond Hill, Ontario; The Window and Door Specialist have been providing top quality windows and doors in the GTA for over 35 years.

The Window & Door Specialist’s core values are “Honesty, Integrity, and Trust”. As a member of our team you will exemplify those values in the Project Coordinator role. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating measurements, installations and service in addition to answering customer inquiries.

The incumbent will be customer focused, with exceptional organizational skills as well as the ability to work on your own while remaining part of a successful team.

Competencies / Skills and Experience.

Experience in the window and door industry an asset.
Good communication skills; verbal and written
Ability to work individually and as a team with minimum supervision
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Proficiency with specialized tools and equipment
customer service
Interpersonal Skills
Effective problem solver with a results oriented approach.
Able to communicate through email
Second language is an asset

Qualifications:

2-5 years window and door installation experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and full time access to a reliable vehicle
Owned a reliable working truck for delivering and installing
Detail oriented.
Reliable and Trustworthy
Respectful and honest
Ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

Installed product and companion products
Completed paperwork required
Maintained safe working environment by obeying safety rules
Participated in overall system level testing efforts
Diagnosed and resolved complex installation issues
Loaded and unloaded materials from truck onto work site
Installed parts in specified relationship to each other
Maintained and organized stock flow of materials to meet supply demands
Communicated effectively with all levels of management and staff
Provided excellent customer service in timely manner
Demonstrated strong work ethic and dependability daily
Maintained accurate inventory of materials, equipment and supplies
Cleaned and organized job site and equipment
