Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Forman/ Woman to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with concrete-related tasks on various projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and familiarity with construction processes and tools. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in concrete work while contributing to high-quality building projects.

Duties

Prepare and set forms for concrete pouring according to project specifications and blueprints
Assist in mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete surfaces
Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety standards are met
Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate placement of concrete structures
Support supervision in quality control measures to meet project standards
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications
Assist with site cleanup and material handling as needed
Adhere to all safety protocols and construction management procedures

Skills

Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques
Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore or Primavera P6 is a plus
Ability to operate basic construction tools and equipment safely
Supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for career growth opportunities
Strong understanding of quality control standards in construction projects
Skills in budgeting and construction estimating are beneficial for advancement roles
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and follow detailed instructions

This position is essential for the successful completion of construction projects, requiring both technical skills and a commitment to safety. Candidates with relevant experience in construction management software or supervising roles will find opportunities for growth within our team. MUST BE A MEMEBR OF L.I.U.N.A Local 527

Pay: $44.42-$46.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
