Do you enjoy meeting people?

We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pro Shop Attendant to join our golf course team until the season closure in mid-November. As a Pro Shop Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to golfers and maintaining efficient operations within the pro shop.

Responsibilities:

Report to the Proshop Manager and follow employee guidelines.
Take tee time reservations and manage the tee time schedule.
Check-in tee times, collect fees, and provide a professional and friendly experience for golfers.
Answer phones, direct calls, and respond to inquiries in a courteous manner.
Sell merchandise in the pro shop, providing information about products when needed.
Handle equipment rentals, including power carts, pull carts, and rental clubs.
Communicate effectively with Players Assistants to ensure smooth golf course operations.
Assist other team members with general office work and tasks as needed.
Ensure guests are greeted immediately upon entering the pro shop.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow guidelines and work collaboratively with a team.
Familiarity with golf operations and equipment is an asset.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Cash handling and point-of-sale experience.
Availability to work until mid-November.

Smart Serve will be required for those 18 and older.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Work Location: In person
