About the Opportunity
We have the privilege of working with a member of the labour movement to assist them in sourcing a short term leadership position. This role offers a wide variety of duties with oversight of I.T., Human Resources and Finance.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Manage the day-to-day operation and effectiveness of the organization
Provide guidance to the leadership on issues within IT, HR and Finance
Provides direction, advice, mentoring and coaching to team members
Manages the Corporate Services function, including some procurement, security, banking and facilities
Manages various projects, as required
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
Post secondary education in Business Administration or related field
Five plus years of relevant experience in Human Resources, Finance or general Operations
Experience working within a unionized environment
Project Management experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Superior judgement and problem solving
The ability to work well with peers as part of an executive support team
Demonstrated ability to be discreet and handle confidential information
Exceptional attention to detail
About the Job
This is a full time/contract position, offering a competitive wage of between $45.0 to $60.00 per hour; a hybrid work arrangement (3 days/week on site) with a convenient work location with available parking.
