Full job description

Our client, a leading production facility in the East of Ottawa, is seeking two (2) dedicated Production Workers (Overnights) to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a well-established organization. The position is a 1-month contract with a strong potential for extension.

Required skills and qualifications:

Previous manufacturing or production experience is considered an asset
Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new responsibilities
Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Reliable attendance and ability to consistently maintain the required schedule
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs on a regular basis
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including up to 8-hour shifts
Reliable transportation is required, as public transit is not available at the end of the shift

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Package finished products according to production requirements
Inspect products for quality and accuracy before boxing
Assemble, label, seal, and stack boxes for shipment
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Meet daily production targets while following quality standards
Report defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervisors
Follow all company policies and safety procedures
Lifting up to 50lbs as required
Assist with general production and warehouse duties as required

Wage: $19.95 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday – 5:00pm to 1:30am
