Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and accomplished Territory Sales Manager. This role involves finding and developing sales opportunities by visiting key hospitals in Ottawa, Kingston, Cornwall, Belleville, and surrounding areas. The representative will focus on promoting the company's products and services to targeted physician clinics, hospitals, sleep clinics, and referral sources. Occasional participation in conferences and meetings is also required, with the ultimate goal of making connections that effectively meet the company's sales targets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources including hospitals, respirologists, registered respiratory therapists (RRTs), nurses, sleep clinics, and Long-Term Care homes.
- Leverage existing professional relationships and referral networks to generate new patient referrals and business opportunities.
- Promote the Homecare services and respiratory solutions through scheduled appointments, drop-in visits, and educational sessions such as lunch-and-learn presentations.
- Educate healthcare professionals on respiratory care pathways, oxygen therapy, and PAP therapy solutions offered by our company.
- Manage and grow an assigned geographic territory, identifying new referral opportunities and strengthening existing partnerships.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly referral or revenue targets within the assigned territory.
- Proactively generate new leads and referral relationships to continuously expand the company’s network of healthcare partners.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and referral patterns, and provide weekly intelligence reports to management.
- Collaborate with internal teams (clinical staff, operations, and PPC) to ensure smooth onboarding of referred patients and high service standards.
- Respond to hospital and clinic requests by coordinating with the appropriate company departments to ensure timely follow-up and support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities, contacts, and opportunities within the CRM system on a daily basis.
- Identify and prioritize target accounts within the CRM system and support ongoing territory planning.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and scheduled field visits with management to review performance, strategy, and territory development.
- Represent the company at conferences, clinical education events, and professional meetings to strengthen professional relationships and promote our services.
Experience Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Existing industry relationships and contacts within the assigned geographical territory are essential.
- Respirology pharmaceutical experience will be considered.
- Pharmaceutical Respirology accreditation is a strong asset.
- Post-secondary education completed at an accredited university.
- A sales background combined with a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse designation is an asset.
Technical Qualifications:
- Experience working with Salesforce or a similar CRM tool
- To hit the ground running, you will have proficiency in using Google Workspace products (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Meet)
- Experience in communication and collaboration using Slack is a plus
