Casual workers are hired for specified periods that may not exceed 90 working days in one calendar year, in a department or in an agency to which the Public Service Commission (PSC) has exclusive authority to make appointments. Permanent residents are welcome to participate in this staffing process. However, since Secret security clearance is a condition of employment for this(ese) position(s), they will not be eligible for appointment unless they become Canadian citizens.

Candidates will be required to complete a questionnaire to demonstrate which of the hiring criteria they meet. This will consist of identifying acquired experience in specific fields and any other criteria listed.
