Full job description

We are seeking to fill a full-time office clerk.

The Office Clerk will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. The position is best suited to a professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, with a demonstrated ability to handle a wide range of office administrative and management tasks.

The Office Clerk will be well organized, flexible, and approach challenges positively. Professionalism and discretion are key requirements for this position, as is excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work comfortably and competently both independently and as part of a small team.

Job description:

Provide office orientation and general administrative training to new employees including recruitment, onboarding.
Monitor office financial objectives, maintain various files.
Schedule.
Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory, review/approve supply acquisitions.
Contribute to and draft documentation.
Liaison with courier, key stakeholders, contractors, residents and families.

Qualifications

knowledge of assistant administrative management practices and procedures.
knowledge of office administration, responsibilities, systems and procedures.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to communicate in English and French is considered a strong asset).
Ability to problem-solve and exercise good judgement.
Adaptable, supportive and flexible team player with ability to work independently, as needed.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
General knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures is an asset.
Tech savvy with advanced computer skills and knowledge of office software packages.
