Rehab First Inc. is currently seeking a Registered Kinesiologist to join our team in the Durham area to support our growing client base through community-based service delivery. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Rehab First is one of Ontario's largest multidisciplinary assessment and treatment organizations, with a growing team of approximately 120 professionals specializing in a variety of disciplines. Guided by our values - sincerity, commitment, and self-improvement - we aim to restore hope and function for clients impacted by serious injury and illness.

Key Responsibilities:

Case Management, guided by the company's Client Pathways service model, which encompasses professional resources management, goal setting, team management, case budgeting, and third party funding approvals
Complete hospital discharge plans
Setting rehabilitation goals in consultation with clients, their families, case teams, and other treating professionals
Preparing and submitting OCF-18 forms for SABS-covered injuries
Facilitating medical evaluations and home modifications
Provide services in a variety of locations including but not limited to: client homes, workplaces, and community settings
Prepare and submit timely case notes and written reports
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications:

BSc in Kinesiology and are currently a licensed practitioner with the COKO
Ability to manage a varied case load independently
Valid CPR certification
Valid G driver's license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (dated within the last 6 months prior to hire date)
Superior communication, problem-solving, time-management and documentation skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
