Job Overview

Miller's Home Hardware Building Center is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Installer to join our Installs team. This is a great opportunity for someone with construction or renovation experience who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to build a long-term career in the trades. Apprenticeship opportunities may be available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

Install cabinetry, flooring, tile, windows, doors, and other building materials.
Perform basic carpentry, caulking, painting, and finishing work.
Read and follow blueprints and installation instructions.
Measure and cut materials accurately.
Safely use hand and power tools.
Work with customers, contractors, and team members to complete projects.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure quality workmanship.

Requirements

Construction, renovation, or installation experience preferred.
Experience with carpentry, kitchens, flooring, windows/doors, or tile is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good knowledge of hand and power tools.
Valid G Driver’s Licence required.
Reliable personal vehicle required.
Ability to safely tow a company trailer.

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
