Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Manufacturing Worker to join our production team. In this role, you will assist in the assembly and manufacturing of roof and floor trusses, laminated wood columns, and cast concrete columns used in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. Successful candidates will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Truss Plant Manufacturing Workers to join our production team. In this role, you will assist in the assembly and manufacturing of roof and floor trusses used in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. Successful candidates will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble wood roof and floor trusses according to engineering drawings and production specifications.
- Operate manufacturing equipment, saws, presses, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Measure, cut, position, and fasten lumber components accurately.
- Assist with quality inspections to ensure products meet company and customer standards.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the plant.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with general plant operations and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, construction, carpentry, or truss production experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to read and follow basic measurements, drawings, and work instructions.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with a Lean Manufacturing "Toyota Production System" facility is considered an asset.

Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Working in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks safely and efficiently.
