About Greywolf Golf Course and the Cliffhanger Restaurant

Greywolf Golf Course is an award winning golf experience designed by renowned architect Doug Carrick. In 2018 Greywolf was recognized as the 15th best course in Canada and Rated #1 Public Course in British Columbia by ScoreGolf Magazine. Greywolf is located at the beautiful Panorama Mountain Resort in the heart of the Purcell Mountains.

As a cook for Greywolf you will be working in the all-new Cliffhanger Restaurant.

Job Description

You are outdoors orientated and are interested in learning or enjoying the game of golf and its environment. You are bubbly and outgoing and love providing exceptional service while demonstrating outstanding teamwork, F&B knowledge and experience. You will be very sales oriented and will be expected to have full knowledge of the Point Of Sale system. This position requires shift work and is a seasonal position.

Responsibilities and Duties

Follow ALL Serving It Right policies and guidelines.
Deliver a “yes we can” attitude to all guests while generating a feeling of being in the friendliest atmosphere on the planet.
You are an order maker, not an order taker. You will be a specialist in the delivery and knowledge of our products.
Service guests in all factors of restaurant work and help in any way possible.
Make sure bills are entered correctly, credit cards are processed properly, and cash-out is done to specifications.
Perform daily operational tasks and duties and maintain daily and weekly cleaning duties.
Participate in events and functions related to operation of the restaurant.
Participate in creating a team environment and use animation and incentive programs to provide a fun atmosphere for employees and guests.
Ensure all patrons are of legal drinking age by requesting & inspecting identification.
Follow our guiding principles.
Ensure personal hygiene and maintain a clean, crisp and professional appearance.
Strive to improve yourself by attending all training/information sessions

Qualifications and Skills

Secondary Education Diploma or Equivalent
At least two years of experience serving in a high volume restaurant atmosphere and is able to ring out $1000 in sales per shift.
Serving it Right Certification or equivalent
Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours and carry 50 lbs.
