TF Warren Group is a premier custom coatings and lining maintenance facility located in Brantford, Ontario. We are currently looking to add a General Labour/Paint Prepper to our growing afternoon shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform general labour around the shop
- Assist painters in masking and other duties such as surface preparation (clean, sand, grit-blast, or chemically strip surfaces to remove rust, grease, and old paint to ensure maximum coating adhesion)
- Performing paint touch-ups and assisting painters with mixing paints and coatings
- Housekeeping, including keeping work area clean and free of any debris
- Assist in material handling and overhead crane use
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols, including hazardous material handling and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Assist team members in other positions around the facility
Essential Qualifications:
- General labour and painting experience in manufacturing or industrial facilities.
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
- Forklift and Overhead Crane certifications.
- Working at Heights and Confined Spaces certifications are an asset.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and comfortably work at elevated heights or in confined spaces. (lift/push up to 50 lbs repeatedly)
- Fine motor skills to work with manual and/or power tools
- Comfortable and able to climb a ladder and work at heights up to 10 meters
- Physical capability to operate a forklift is an asset
- Ability to stand & walk continuously for 4 hours at a time
- Ability to perform moderately physically demanding work
- Ability to wear a respirator
