Key responsibilities
· Forecast demand for retail products using historical sales, seasonality, promotions, and store-level consumption patterns.
· Establish and maintain min/max levels, safety stock, reorder points, and order frequency based on lead time variability and service-level targets.
· Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust planning parameters to improve availability and reduce overstock.
· Apply ABC classification, Pareto analysis, and inventory control principles to prioritize high-impact SKUs.
· Analyze sales velocity, margin, and aging inventory to recommend assortment changes (list, delist, replace).
· Recommend actions to improve working capital and reduce shrink/obsolescence (order cycle changes, SKU rationalization, cross-location balancing).
· Create & Support store planograms with data-driven replenishment and purchasing strategies.
· Support sourcing decisions through demand projections, purchasing plans, and quotation analysis.
· Evaluate supplier performance based on reliability, responsiveness, cost, and service outcomes.
· Collaborate with suppliers and operations to align replenishment strategy with demand patterns.
· Initiate or recommend purchase orders aligned with forecasted demand and approved sourcing strategies.
Requires frequent communication on a weekly basis with store managers and operations to ensure accuracy in inventories
· Investigate and resolve PO, invoice, and receipt discrepancies with Finance and Operations.
· Maintain accurate item master and planning parameters within ERP systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of core inventory management and demand planning principles.
- Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables, Power Query; basic macros preferred).
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Experience working with ERP or inventory/purchasing systems.
- Experience in convenience retail, FMCG, or high-SKU environments preferred

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
