Full job description

Job Summary

We are a busy hair salon looking for a dynamic person to join our reception/ sales team.

This position is 25+ hours a week working within a Monday to Saturday schedule~ 4 or 5 days a week. Our team works together to create a flexible schedule that works for everyone.

This is a non stop action position!

**We have stairs- so the ability to go up and down the stairs many times throughout the day is necessary.

**There is no seating at our reception desk so the ability to stand while working is necessary.

Client Care and building sincere relationships is our #1 priority.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Previous reception experience is not necessary but may be an asset. A positive attitude, open mind and willingness to learn is paramount.

Previous retail sales experience is not necessary but will be an asset.

Attending both in-salon & online retail product knowledge classes and applicable training classes will be required.

Speak with confidence and clarity both in person and on the phone.
Be skilled at composing emails to communicate professionally and clearly.
Be highly organized with above average multi-tasking capabilities

Show maturity & respect to everyone in all interactions.
Have an innate desire to create and maintain lasting relationships with clients and fellow team members
Ability & desire to work, progress & grow as a team as well as an individual
