Current openings: Industrial Painter - Full time with immediate selection and onboarding available

Location: Hiring at our Parksville location (1390 Springhill Rd., Parksville, BC), with occasional shifts at our Chemainus location (3528 Smiley Rd., Chemainus, BC).

Job Summary: The Industrial Painter is responsible for industrial coating operations for fabricated steel components and assemblies. This will be a hands-on role in the paint booth, working both independently and collaboratively to support team productivity and a well-organized work environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Application of industrial coating systems (primers, epoxies, urethanes, powder coatings, etc.) according to specifications and customer requirements.
Apply coating to fabricated steel components, weldments, and assemblies.
Operate airless spraying equipment
Surface preparation processes (cleanliness standards, masking).
Enforce PPE use and safe handling procedures. Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental standards.

Requirements:

High school diploma required; technical or coatings certification preferred.
1+ years of industrial coatings experience in fabrication or manufacturing preferred.
Experience with structural steel or heavy welded assemblies strongly preferred.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
