As a Housekeeping Associate, you play a vital role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. You are responsible for cleaning guestrooms, lobby, and common areas, and assisting in laundry as needed, all with attention to detail and genuine care.
Accountabilities
- Respond promptly and courteously to requests from guests and other departments, ensuring needs are met with care.
- Prepare housekeeping carts thoughtfully, stocking supplies to anticipate guest needs.
- Enter guest rooms following proper procedures, respecting privacy and ensuring vacancy before entry.
- Refresh guest amenities and supplies, replacing items with attention to detail and presentation.
- Replace linens and towels with clean items, ensuring comfort and consistency.
- Make beds neatly and fold towels with pride, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly, maintaining hygiene and guest confidence.
- Remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items promptly to keep areas fresh.
- Check appliances and room features to confirm they are present, clean, and in working order.
- Straighten furniture, desk items, and appliances to create a tidy, inviting space.
- Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings, ensuring rooms feel cared for.
- Vacuum carpets in guest rooms and hallways, maintaining cleanliness and comfort.
- Comply with all safety regulations, actively contributing to a clean and secure workplace.
- Support environmental programs and policies, showing care for sustainability and the community.
- Perform other duties as assigned, adapting with flexibility and positivity.
Requirements
- Resort experience preferred
- Superior attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and organize time effectively and efficiently
Working Conditions
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
