Full job description

Overview

Ruth's Pet Hotel is seeking a part-time associate to join our team on weekends over the summer months with potential to become long term. This position is for Saturdays and Sundays only, with two full shifts weekly alongside our team. If you're looking for a weekend job and want to spend some time with our amazing pups, we'd love to hear from you!

We spend most of our day outside with the dogs, doing yard work and maintenance around the property, as well as bathing, feeding, and playtime with our guests. There are daily cleaning duties during the summer months, and more in the fall and winter if this turns into a longer-term fit. Good hospitality skills are also needed when interacting with our lovely pet parents during pick-up and drop-off.

Responsibilities

Supervise dogs during walks and playtime
Assist with feeding, administering medication, and cleaning up after pets
Baths and nail trims as requested
Maintain a clean and organized environment in the hotel
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing pet owners’ questions and concerns professionally
Support team members in daily operations to ensure a smooth workflow

Skills

Strong customer service skills
Ability to handle multiple dogs safely in a dynamic environment
Compassionate attitude towards animals with patience and understanding
Must be physically fit enough to carry food bags and lift dogs

Pay: $23.00 per hour
