Full job description

CATA Management Ltd. is seeking an Experienced Pipe Layer to join our Earthworks and Civil team!

Key Responsibilities:

Lay, install, and maintain pipe for storm, sewer, and water systems.
Ensure proper alignment, grade, and depth of pipes according to project specifications.
Excavate trenches and backfill as required for pipe installation.
Assist with the setup and operation of trenching and pipe-laying equipment.
Collaborate with the project team to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Keep detailed records of work completed and materials used.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a pipe layer in civil construction or related field.
Strong knowledge of pipe installation, trenching, and grading.
Experience with various types of pipes, including PVC, HDPE, and ductile iron.
Ability to operate related equipment such as excavators, and loaders.
Understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to pipe laying and trenching.
Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license is an asset.
