Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained workspace while developing skills in commercial cleaning and facilities upkeep.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in various areas of the facility
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively to ensure high standards of hygiene
Conduct periodic deep cleaning and sanitation procedures as needed
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in designated areas
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Follow established cleaning protocols to meet health and safety regulations
Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks when required to support overall building upkeep

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, use of cleaning equipment, and safety procedures is advantageous
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality as key attributes
Basic understanding of facilities maintenance practices is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
