Position Title: Production Line Worker

Reports To: Production Manager
Position Summary:
The Production Line Worker is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining equipment used in the bottling, labeling, and packaging of Yoho Fine Water Inc. products. This role ensures production runs efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with HACCP, GMP, and company quality standards. The Production Line Worker contributes to consistent product quality, sanitation, and overall plant performance through attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Description of Duties:
As a Production Line Worker, the Employee’s key responsibilities will be to:
- Operate and monitor machinery and equipment used in the bottling process, including filling, capping, labelling, and packaging lines.
- Perform troubleshooting of production line equipment, including identifying root causes of minor faults and safely starting, stopping, adjusting, and resetting machinery as required.
- Support and collaborate with the maintenance team in diagnosing and resolving more advanced mechanical issues, including assisting with equipment inspections, adjustments, and minor corrective actions where appropriate.
- Assist in identifying recurring equipment issues and communicate observations to support preventative maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all equipment is properly set up, calibrated where required, and operating efficiently to meet production targets.
- Monitor the flow of bottles through filling, sealing, labelling, and packaging processes to ensure continuous operation.
- Verify product quality by ensuring bottles are properly filled, sealed, and packaged, and report any defects or deviations from standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production equipment, conveyors, and work areas to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with GMP.
- Report all safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, and material shortages to the Production Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Complete production logs, batch records, and quality control checklists accurately and on time.
- Participate in cleaning and sanitization procedures, including end-of-shift cleaning and equipment swabbing when required.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain consistent workflow.
- Follow all company safety policies, GMP, and HACCP requirements.

- Ability to follow instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures precisely.
- Mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting production machinery.
- Good teamwork and communication skills for effective coordination on the line.
- Awareness of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices in a production environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing moderate lifting.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (required for safety, documentation, and production records).
- Basic math skills (required for counting product, verifying quantities, and completing production documentation).
Education and Experience:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- two (2) years of experience in a food, beverage, or manufacturing production environment preferred.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and basic food safety practices an asset.
- Experience with bottling or packaging equipment considered an advantag
