Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. We are ready and willing to consider a person with disability for this position.

The candidate must be either PR or Canadian citizen.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support the efficient operation of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Perform a wide range of renovation and construction tasks, including carpentry, drywall installation and finishing, tiling, flooring, and painting.
Perform outdoor tasks, including basic landscaping, concrete works, retaining wall construction, and pathway leveling and maintenance.
Install accessibility solutions such as grab bars, ramps, barrier-free showers, and widened doorways.
Adhere to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure work is completed to specifications and timelines.
Inspect and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in safe working order.
Follow occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a general tradesman or in a related role (minimum of 3 years preferred).
Proficiency in using hand and power tools, with knowledge of various construction techniques.
Familiarity with BC Building Code.
Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation is an asset.
First Aid certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in varying indoor and outdoor environments.
Ability to perform repetitive motions, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
