We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Social Media Manager with fluency in both English and Mandarin to join our growing team. This role is essential in developing visually compelling content and managing our online presence across various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in graphic design, digital marketing, and social media management, with the ability to drive engagement and enhance brand visibility through innovative campaigns. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to e-commerce growth and brand development while utilizing cutting-edge tools and strategies.

Responsibilities

Design eye-catching graphics and visual content for social media, website, email campaigns, and advertising materials using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Manage and execute social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn using tools like Hootsuite and Buffer.
Develop engaging content tailored for digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.
Monitor social media analytics with Google Analytics to assess campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Create and schedule regular posts, stories, and advertisements to maintain active online engagement.
Collaborate with the e-commerce team to produce promotional materials that support online sales initiatives.
Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency before publishing.
Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, graphic design, and social media to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.

Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design projects.
Experience managing social media platforms using Hootsuite or Buffer (application).
Strong understanding of digital marketing principles including SEO, Google Analytics, Facebook Advertising, and keyword research.
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and strategies to support online sales growth.
Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in all content creation.
Ability to develop creative visual assets that align with brand identity.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role is ideal for a motivated individual passionate about combining creative design with strategic digital marketing efforts to elevate brand presence across digital channels.

Job requirements and qualifications:

2 year min. of experience as a Social Media Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator or similar role
Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube shorts, and other social media best practices
Photography & video skills for social / ad campaign content
Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
Experience in graphic design and good knowledge of Adobe Suite applications
Knowledge of later scheduling platform considered an asset.
Knowledge of Mailerlite, Mailchimp and/or e-newsletter platforms considered an asset.
Ability to work occasional weekends for event content / socials
Have or will obtain Serving it Right Certificate

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
